Carline Thomas, LMHC

Carline is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with seventeen years of experience. She has been working with Anaga Psychotherapy Center for almost eight years, serving families who are dealing, at times, with stressful situations and difficult moments.  Her work has been extensive as a group facilitator in the fields of anger management, domestic violence, and substance abuse. She also worked as a psychotherapist with individuals who are struggling with mental health issues such as, depression, bipolar and anxiety. Her therapeutic style consists of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction practices, and solution focus therapy.
Carline is motivated and finds great joy in helping her diverse clientele. Her ability to speak fluently French and Haitian Kreyol (Creole), and her basic knowledge of Spanish have allowed her to assist many individuals from different background.
Carline is passionate in what she does and proud of the positive impact she has on her clients. She aims to give each client the techniques and strategies necessary to make better choices for their lives and that of their families. She gives her clients her very best thereby creating an environment where no one is judged but everyone receives constant support, help, and motivation.
Carline enjoys cooking, dancing, watching action movies and spending quality time with her family.
