Andrea Puech, LMHC
Andrea Puech is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who graduated from Florida International University after completing prior studies in Argentina and France. She brings to her clinical practice her extensive experience and training in counseling individuals and groups for clients with diversified ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, including adolescents, adults and geriatric population. Andrea brings to her therapy sessions an international and varied background particularly suited to cater and help Miami’s vibrant diverse community. She is a trilingual individual, fluent in English, Spanish and French who has lived in 5 countries in Europe and South America. She works with a wide array of issues including, anxiety, depression, stress-related problems, cross-cultural issues, addictions, trauma, domestic violence, parenting, life transitions, family and couples’ relationships, and simply helping people overcome their problems and live richer and gratifying lives. She provides therapy through a strengths-based perspective using a variety of evidenced-based treatment practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and a Psychodynamic approach. Finally, Andrea has been trained in conducting evaluations for clients needing Mental Health, Domestic Violence, Parenting, Anger Management, Trauma, and Substance Abuse assessments. Andrea is a member of the American Counseling Association since 2014. She is a certified trauma specialist since 2018. Andrea brings to her clinical practice the importance in balancing mind and body health to better handle every day challenges.
Andrea enjoys the outdoors, skiing, yoga, reading, traveling., and spending time with family and friends.
